Community Activities at the Barn

Crossroads Youth and Community Association (CYCA) delivers youth and community work alongside the people of Gorbals and Govanhill areas of Glasgow.

A range of community activities and classes are run at the Barn including:

Sew and Chat - a sewing group to share skills and practice conversational English
Gorbals Housing Action Group - local residents meeting to discuss housing issues and planning how to change them
Arts & Crafts Class - a space to get your creative juices flowing
Care 2 Knit - gather with other knitters and crocheters to chat, work on personal projects or help in building 'winter kits' for donating
Computer Literacy Class
Womans Yoga
Social Security Scotland Benefit Advice Appointments
Soup Group
Giggle 'n Grow - stimulating fun for every child and opportunities for parent and child to interact together
Toastie Fridays - gathering of community members to share in a blether over soup and toasties
